Watertown Agriculture Committee
The Ag Committee is dedicated to its mission statement: To serve the Watertown Area through the promotion of agriculture. Our programs teach young people that agriculture is a vital part of our day-to-day lives. The Ag Committee strives to provide new opportunities and programs to inform our community about the importance of agriculture.
In addition to the Watertown Winter Farm Show, the Chamber Ag Committee organizes, supports and participates in many other events throughout the year. Some of these include the Adopt the First Grade Program, Dairy-Palooza, 4-H BBQ, and Farm Business Banquet.

We're seeking nominations!
6Look all around Watertown and it is very evident that we rely on agriculture for not only food, but our entire economy: machinery, banks, seed dealers, elevators, veterinarians and even our very own ethanol plant. We all know several people that work in agriculture in some facet. We would like to recognize those people or businesses that stood out in their field. (Pun intended.)
We’re seeking nominations for this prestigious honor. Submit your nominee and a short summary of why they are deserving of the title by October 5, 2026 via the button below.
The Ag Advocate of the Year will be announced at the Farm Business Banquet on November 19, 2026, at Watertown Event Center. Tickets to the event go on sale October 1.
