Santaland is not just about getting a quick photo with Santa Claus; it’s an immersive experience that will stay with families for years to come.

This year, holiday enthusiasts will find Santaland on the West end of the Watertown Mall in the former Maurices location. This expanded space will allow for an even more magical experience, with new features and larger-than-life displays.

Santaland is FREE to the public, but will be accepting donations to help keep this tradition thriving.

Santaland will be open in the Watertown Mall, in the former Maurices location on the West end, on Fridays from 4:00 – 7:00pm, Saturdays from 10:00am – 4:00pm, and Sundays from 12:00 – 3:00pm, starting on December 4 – 20, 2026.

We’re Seeking Sponsors!

We want to grow and improve Santaland, but we cannot do it alone. Your generous partnership will help us bring holiday magic to life for thousands of families, ensuring this event is one they will remember for years to come.

There are multiple sponsorship levels including a $100 sponsorship which includes an “In Memory of” or “In Honor of” ornament to be given to the purchaser at the end of the season.

We’re inviting our local businesses to sign up for a Santaland Spotlight Experience — an exciting opportunity to get in front of hundreds (even thousands!) of families during the holiday season at the Watertown Mall.

For just $250, your business can claim one of our spotlight days and bring the holiday spirit to life! Whether it’s someone from your team dressing up as the Grinch, Frosty the Snowman, Olaf, or any other festive character, this is your chance to spread cheer and connect with the community in a truly memorable way.

What’s Included in your Santaland experience:

• A full spotlight day during our open hours – dates are scheduled on a first come, first served basis

• A booth or display at the entrance to welcome families

• Employees dressed in festive costumes to engage with guests

• Fun, optional add-ons like:

o Helping kids write letters to Santa

o Hosting a treat table (hot chocolate, cookies, reindeer mix, etc.)

o A giveaway or drawing to draw a crowd

Last year, over 8,000 people visited Santaland—and we expect another amazing turnout this year. It’s the perfect time to let your business shine while having some holiday fun with the community!

Volunteer at Santaland!

To make this event the best it can be, we need volunteers! Costumed and non-costumed volunteers are needed to make Santaland run smoothly.

Do you enjoy acting? We’re seeking performers to be costumed characters!

Costumed characters include:

• Mrs. Claus – XL costume
• Elves – 2 S/M, 2 L/XL costumes
• The Grinch
• Olaf
• Bumble the Abominable Snowman
• Frosty the Snowman

Want to help, but not interested in costumes? We have more options!

• Welcome Party – greet attendees and direct guests
• Santa’s Helpers – welcome kids to see Santa, assist Santa with gifts, direct traffic, be an amateur photographer, and keep lines moving
