Shop locally this holiday season and support small businesses during the busiest shopping months! When you support small business, you support the whole community. Each year over $150,000 worth of Hometown Holidays stamp cards are redeemed for prizes. That’s money that stays in our community and keeps Watertown moving forward.

Hometown Holidays stamp cards may be picked up at participating businesses or the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce office at 1 East Kemp Ave (corner of Kemp & Broadway) Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm, beginning November 28, 2025.

HOW IT WORKS

• Pick up your Hometown Holidays stamp card (on or after November 28) –  Available at any participating business or at the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce – 1 East Kemp Ave (corner of Kemp & Broadway), Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm
• Shop Local between November 28 – January 5 at participating businesses.
• Earn one stamp for every $10 spent. (Example: Spend $12.50 = one stamp.)
• Each card is complete with 25 stamps — that’s $250 spent locally!
• You can collect stamps from multiple participating businesses.
• You may complete and turn in as many cards as you’d like!
• Present your card at checkout each time you shop.

EASY TURN-IN OPTIONS

Leave your completed cards with participating businesses (they’ll turn them in for you!) OR Drop them off yourself at the Chamber office by 4:00pm on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

The Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce invites your business to participate in the annual Hometown Holidays promotion — a community initiative designed to encourage local shopping throughout the holiday season. 

Hometown Holidays stamp cards and stampers will be distributed to participating businesses the week of the promotion.

CUSTOMER SERVICE OPPORTUNITY

As part of your customer service efforts, businesses are encouraged to offer each guest a stamp card during the promotion. We also encourage you to collect completed stamp cards from your customers and submit them in bulk to the Chamber office throughout or at the end of the promotion. This provides a convenient experience for your customers while also positioning your business as a community-focused partner that supports local shopping and Chamber initiatives.

To participate in this promotion, businesses are required to provide a $50 value door prize gift in the form of products or gift certificates. Prizes may be single or multiple items, but must have a retail value of $50.
